so pretty much this is my closet Yule Ball!Hermione cosplay aka me in my prom dress ^^;

also, if you're wondering why the dress isn't pink it's because in the book Hermione's dress was originally a teal color (like the dress I'm wearing) but in the movie they changed it to pink for whatever reason. Also, I know that in the book she straightened her hair for the ball but my sister ~im-da-best-n-u-no-it told me that I looked a lot like Hermione with my hair curled...

oh, and I apologize that this isn't the best pic but it's the only one I have of myself without anyone in it there's too many pics of me and my bf lol ^^;

This is definitely much closer to the periwinkle color as described in the book.  I s'pose they had their reasons for constantly putting her in pink, but still!
